Our Campus

About Us

Rooted in classical education and Judeo-Christian values, Carden Hall seeks to inspire students with the love of learning and a dedication to virtue.  Our successful, time-tested approach to education relies on a joyful, calm, engaging learning environment, which includes small group lessons, Socratic discussions, independent work, play with a purpose, and a unique, scaffolded curriculum complete with daily instruction in science, art, music, French, and physical education.

On this shared journey of learning from the greatest of human works and thoughts, we respond with respect and eagerness through elevated standards of speech and conduct in all aspects of campus life as articulated in our Carden Hall Handshake and Honor Code

Nestled on a majestic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Carden Hall’s new outdoor learning environment inspires curiosity and imagination, reflecting the school’s mission to nurture and educate the whole child. More than a playground, this natural living classroom promotes discovery and learning through creative play where learners move, explore, dream, and grow.

The playground’s focal point is a custom-built wooden ship, complete with a ramp, slide, rigging ropes and ladders, and a crow’s nest, inviting students to set sail on high-seas adventures, powered entirely by imagination and wonder. The open space also includes a suspension bridge, balance logs, and climbing boulders that invite children to explore and discover in ways that build confidence, promote wellness, and inspire joyful learning.
